To commemorate the role of the Hawker Hurricane in the Battle of Britain, this high quality fine art poster features Andrew's painting "High In The Sunlit Silence", depicting a Hurricane of 605 (County of Warwick) Squadron. The actual aircraft, Hurricane L2122 (UP-L) was lost on Sunday 15th September 1940 whilst defending London from a sustained attack by the Luftwaffe. The pilot, Flying Officer R.E Jones managed to safely bale out and although injured, recovered to resume flying duties and survived the war.

This high quality A2 size fine art poster on glossy 210gsm paper stock, is limited to just 1000 copies and measures approx. 59 x 42cm. Each poster is individually numbered and signed by the artist. It is supplied unframed, ready for you to hang or have framed to suit your own tastes.
