2019
22nd - 28th July Guild of Aviation Artist's Aviation Paintings of the Year - The Mall Galleries, London
Andrew was very fortunate to have all five of his submitted works accepted for exhibtion. Four of the of the five artworks were sold during the week long exhibition.
2018
28th & 29th July 2018 Old Buckenham Airshow
Andrew attended the airshow with the Aviation Originals stand, displaying a wide selection of original oil paintings, drawings and limited edition giclee prints for sale.
2017
July 2017 - Guild of Aviation Artist's Annual Exhibition, The Mall Galleries, London
The original oil painting "Departing from Shoreham - 1938" was highly commended in both the De Havilland Aircraft Museum Trophy and Award along with The Alex Henshaw Trophy.
2016:
5th March 2016 - Newark Air Museum Aeroboot
Rather cold but, great venue and great people.
2015:
A new exhibition venue for this year which proved to be a great sucess.
2014:
Shoreham Airport 4th - 30th October
Another extremely success exhibition was held throughout October.
Shoreham Airport 1st - 30th April
Following the sucess of the exhibition last year, Andrew returned with another selection of his original oil paintings, drawings and prints.
2013:
Shoreham Airport 6th July - 26th August
Andrew's first major solo exhibition was held throught July and August. Some 34 paintings, drawings and prints were exhibited to high aclaim.
2012:
Solent Aviation Art Society Annual Exhibition 15th - 22nd Sept.
A really sucessful week long exhibition was held at a retail unit in Fareham. Not only did Andrew sell four pencil drawings but also, jointly won the SAAS Trophy with Paul Couper, having equal votes cast by visitors for the best painting in the show.
Aviation Paintings of the Year 2012 - 16th - 22nd July
Three pictures were accepted for this year's exhibition. In the photo below, Andrew stands with his three exhibited works, hung at the Mall Galleries, London. The two oil paintings were sold during the exhibition.
2011:
Shoreham Aerojumble - 1st October 2011
Another sucessful day at this re-established event. Made a few sales and made some promising contacts.
Aviation Paintings of the Year 2011 - 18th-24th July
For the second year in a row, two pictures have been selected to be hung at this year's Guild of Aviation Artists annual exhibition at The Mall Galleries, London, as detailed below:
Shoreham Aerojumble, Saturday 26th March 2011
Had another really sucessful event exhibiting my work, selling two original oil paintings and meeting lots of very interesting people.
Croydon Aerojumble - 2nd January 2011
Kicked off the New Year with a really sucessful aerojumble at the Croydon Airport Hotel, selling a number of items. It was very cramped and very busy!
2010:
Tangmere Military Aviation Museum - 25th & 26th September 2010
Solent Aviation Art Society's 10th Annual Painting Exhibition was held at Tangmere on the weekend of 25th & 26th September.
(Above) Group Captain David Baron OBE presents Andrew Harris with the 'Beales Trophy' for his latest painting 'Spitfire Harvest', judged winning entry to the Battle of Britain competition.
In addition, Andrew won the SAAS Trophy for his painting 'High and Mighty' (above left) which was voted by visitors to the exhibition as the Best in Show.
Guild of Aviation Artists - 'Aviation Paintings of the Year' 2010
Two artworks "Heat Haze Hold" and "Green 3" were exhibited at this year's Aviation Paintings of the Year at The Mall Galleries, London, as detailed below:
