One of just 10 limited edition canvas artist's studio prints from a print run of 850 copies. These canvas prints are on timber stretchers and use fade resistant inks that are guaranteed for 75years. The prints are individually inspected for quality and then signed and numbered on the reverse by the artist and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. These special prints on canvas are the closest to the original oil painting as one can get.
Taken from the original oil painting, it depicts Avro Vulcan XH558 the first Vulcan B2 bomber to be taken on charge by the RAF and in 2015, was the last flying Vulcan in the world. Following a farewell flying tour of Great Britain in October 2015, the iconic Vulcan flew for the last time a few weeks later and will sadly no longer grace the skies.
The stretched canvas print is presented as a 'gallery wrap' print, meaning that the image is continued around the edges of the timber stretcher, so that it does not need framing and is supplied ready to hang - as shown in the pictures below. The size of the canvas stretcher is approximately 16" x 24".
