A framed and double mounted original mixed media pencil drawing on acid free heavyweight art paper of the famous watch tower at RAF Tangmere, near Chichester in West Sussex. A Fighter Command base during the Second World War, it was also the base for the successful World Air Speed record attempt along the South Coast by Neville Duke.

The Spitfire's markings and pilot's Mae West lifejackets have been subtly picked out in watercolour to add an extra special dimension to the piece.

The overall frame size is approximately 980 x 510mm.
