A framed original pencil drawing of a Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIc PZ865 from the RAF's Battle of Britain Memorial Flight,  mounted with genuine fragments of covering fabric and foam backed fabric, removed from the Hurricane during a major maintenance programmed, started in November 2010.

These are highly unique artefacts from the aircraft of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, combined with an original artwork.

A framed original pencil drawing of a Hawker Hurricane Mk. 1 of No. 1 Squadron. Mounted with a genuine fragment from the aircraft, shot down on 13th May 1940 by several Messerschmitt 110 fighters. The drawing is also presented with the original signature of the pilot, Group Captain Billy Drake DSO, DFC & Bar, DFC (US). This original fragment of aluminium skin has been excavated from the crash site and featured in a BBC documentary at the time.

Billy Drake was injured but, managed to bale out and landed North East of Perthes in France. He was eventually evacuated to England and later resumed flying duties and had a distinguished career, ultimately surviving the war. He died in 2011.

This is a highly unique and historically significant collection from the Battle of France combined with an original artwork.

A framed original pencil drawing of an RAF Typhoon T3 on a low level trailing sortie through the 'Mach Loop' in North Wales. The aircraft was based at RAF Coningsby with 29 Squadron.

The framed picture is mounted with a genuine section of skin cut from the aircraft depicted in the drawing.

The mounted genuine skin cut has completed 1628 hours and 48 minutes of flight time and was removed from the aircraft on 4th December 2017, as part of teh UK Typhoon Spares Recovery Programme. The artwork is accompanied by a copy of the MOD Form 731, certifying removal of the part as unserviceable. The skin cut has been taken from Access Panel 624CT, Fixed Trailing Edge Shroud, Centre Inboard.
